January 9-15, 2006

Hey everyone

Keep it very short and sweet this week! My mum and Karen are coming tomorrow to Japan - they are actually on the plan as I write this) - I am very excited to see them. We will be travelling around Japan for the next 2weeks, visiting places such as Hiroshima, Kyoto, Nara, Mount Fuji, Nikko and Hakone!
This week passed by very fast, as I battled to finish three essays and dolots of Japanese study. Went out on Friday night to a really awesomephilharmonic concert at Yoyogi Concert Hall - really good performance and brought back memories of when I played in my high school band. The tickets were free, which was even better!
Have finally finished my Nelson Mandela autobiography - recommend it toanyone who wants a challenging read! I am started "The Da Vinci Code" and I am hooked! I cannot put it down! Who else has read it?

On other news, I have started to write a book - can't say what about norwhat its called as that would give the whole project away! But it will bevery fascinating for some of you to read I am sure. Some plans to get itpublished, but I have only written some of it, so I am trying not to thinkthat far ahead.
My website on Martina Hingis is going along well - she plays a huge matchthis Tuesday at the Aussie Open, so I wish her the very best of luck.Check out the website:www.geocities.com/ttiimmyy2000/MartinaHingis.html
We had another earthquake yesterday which was the biggest one I haveexperienced whilst in Japan. It was a 4.5 - pretty scary stuff - even thevideo player which sits on my t.v., which sits on my freezer, which sits onmy fridge was gonna fall!!!!!! haha

Ok, thats enough for this week...
Take care everyone and keep in touch

Tim
